My New Orleans Is...Its African American Heritage

The Pirate's Alley Faulkner Society hosts this exploration of the historic Tremé and the cultural contributions made by African Americans to one of the city's most colorful neighborhoods. Included is the screening of Faubourg Tremé: The Untold Story of Black New Orleans. Free and open to the public. Writer and Co-producer, Lolis Eric Elie will be in attendance. He will introduce the story of Treme. Free refreshments during social hour preceding film. Please rsvp to Faulkhouse@aol.com to give us an accurate head count for food and wine.
