ESSENCE Marketplace & Art Expo 2009 will feature a distinctive exhibit of Fine Art and Fine Crafts reflective of the rich cultural heritage seen throughout the African Diaspora. New Orleans traditional art and culture will also be featured. Artwork on exhibit is of original design and handcrafted by the artist/exhibitor.

ESSENCE Marketplace & Art Expo will also showcase exhibits featuring African Art, traditional and cultural items from throughout the World.

ESSENCE Marketplace & Art Expo will be open July 3, 4 and 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Artist demonstrations will be scheduled daily.
