Red Hot Chili Peppers have established themselves as one of rock's greatest live acts with their combination of funk influenced metal and pop rock. The commercial breakthrough came in 1989 with the album Mother's Milk. The follow-up is arguably one of the greatest albums released in the 1990's, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, which featured the top ten hit "Under the Bridge" as well as "Give It Away" and "Breaking the Girl." After a long hiatus, the group's reunion album, I'm With You, proved to be another monster success, reconfirming the Chili Peppers as one of alternative rock's top bands.
